DAY CAMP ONLY (no overnight stay) The Department of Forensic and Investigative Sciences and the Next Generation Forensic Science Initiative will be hosting a forensic science summer camp for middle school (6th-8th grade) and high school (9th-12th grade) students for one week this summer. The goal of this program is to bring the crime lab to the classroom. Through hands-on, experiential learning, participants will acquire the practical knowledge and skills that forensic scientists employ in their day-to-day casework. At the conclusion of the week, participants will take their newly acquired knowledge and skills and apply them to a mock crime scene at the WVU Crime Scene Complex. Included in the cost will be lunch each day, a t-shirt, and a certificate of attendance. Important:  There is an additional waiver form that will need to be filled out and signed. Please download the form below, print it, and fill it out. Registration is not considered complete until the waiver forms are completed and returned.   Download Waiver Form Location The first three days of the course will be held in Oglebay Hall, 1600 University Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26506 and the last two days will be held at the Vehicle Processing Center in the WVU Crime Scene Complex, 383 Oakland Street, Morgantown, WV 26508. Refund Policy Full refunds will be authorized/processed for credit card payments only. Full refunds must be requested in writing by either email or regular mail prior to the start of camp (June 19, 2017). All requests after this date will not be refunded. Partial refunds will not be available under any circumstances.

We do not, under any circumstances, accept applications for unaccompanied minors who have to fly here. Important:  There is an additional waiver form that will need to be filled out and signed.
